Sparco are an Italian company which was founded in 1977 by two racing drivers who wanted to promote safety in the motorsport. The first sparco racing suit was developed in 1978 and would give protection from fire for 11 seconds. This protection would give enough time for a driver who was in an accident time to escape the vehicle and minimise injury.

The strength of sparco as a company and their name continued to grow and by the early 1980s they had won many championships. It was around this time with the product range was growing and the came to the Uk via stockists and now fms have sparco products in stock.
